The Cabin
Kingfishers Nest is our second cosy cabin and is situated on the edge of a hidden lake with commanding views across the water. Surrounded by nature, this beautifully designed snug has a list of luxuries including a sauna, hot tub and a bath tub in the bedroom all with special views of the water.
With a hot tub and sauna, overlooking the lake, there is really no reason to leave the property during your stay. However, if you fancy some exercise there are some beautiful walks in the neighbouring ancient woodland, a 10 minute walk from the cabin.
If you are interested in an excursion why not visit one of the following:
- Colchester, the oldest recorded town in the country with a stunning castle and thriving high street!
- Colne Valley Stream Railway Museum
- Colchester Zoo
- Seaside adventures to Frinton on Sea, Clacton
- Delicious seafood and famous Rock Oysters at Mersea Island
- Shopping at retail outlet Braintree Village (formally known as Freeport)
